David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is a famous American anchor, journalist and anchor and reporter. He is most well-known for World News Tonight. Viewed by millions of viewers, David Muir's show is known for its celebrity gossip video and animations. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning show. Before he took over ABC World News Tonight he was the anchor in charge for his former anchor Diane Sawyer. He was the anchor for numerous primetime specials for ABC News some recent ones including Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint Refugees in America. He has been to many nations around the world reporting the news. From Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti, and the Gulf of Mexico. He has received numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as honours and prizes of The Associated Press.
